docflow.studio Docs
Your text. A finished document.
This guide takes you from existing text through layout and style to signature, share link, PDF, or print.
Quickstart
- 01Paste your existing text into the Studio. Blank lines are enough for a clean basic structure.
- 02Choose a layout and press “Format automatically”. Your wording stays intact.
- 03Open Profile & style. Choose a calm starting style or adjust typography, rhythm, and colors with controlled options.
- 04Review the preview and open Finish. Optionally add a signature and choose link, PDF, or print.

Writing input
The easiest way: just write normally
You do not need commands or Markdown. Separate paragraphs with a blank line and press “Format automatically”. docflow detects the basic structure itself.
What sits above the editor
The editor keeps out of the way: a box for your text, a picker for ready-made examples, and a Help toggle. That is all you need.
What plain text does automatically
- The first short standalone line becomes the title.
- Blank lines separate paragraphs.
- Short standalone lines become section headings.
- Lines beginning with -, *, or 1. become lists.
Optional labels
Use these only when you want to control the structure yourself. The same building blocks are available through Help in the editor.

You can paste complete Markdown or Obsidian notes. Headings, lists, quotes, links, wikilinks, highlights, images, bold, italic, inline code, and dividers are styled.
Important: docflow structures and styles. It does not add arguments, facts, or wording.
Layouts
Layouts control document structure. Style presets control typography, colors, and rhythm. You can change either independently.

Profile & style
Start with a safe preset
The first seven presets are deliberately minimal and use a white document surface. Warm, Signature, and Midnight are separated under expressive styles. A preset applies colors, type, density, reading width, and hierarchy as one calibrated system.

Document density
Reading width
Identity and colors
Name, address, contact details, and sign-off appear only in suitable layouts. Light and dark PNG or WebP logos can be uploaded; HTTPS URLs also work. docflow chooses the appropriate variant automatically. Color roles can be adjusted individually and are checked with their contrast ratios.
Document layer and transfer
Use a transparent PNG or WebP file up to 1 MB as a document layer. Fit and opacity apply to web, PDF, and print. Import and export save the complete profile as JSON. Reset style keeps the profile, logos, and document layer.
Depending on access, Profile & style stays local to the browser or syncs with the account. Publishing saves the applied state with the document.
Finish and deliver
Finish confirms the document state and brings every delivery path together.
01 · Signature
02 · Output
03 · Reuse
Web, PDF, and print use the same HTML/CSS rendering. Changes to content, style, or signature therefore affect every output together.
The visual signature is not identity verification, a qualified electronic signature, or a replacement for a signature platform. Only the signed-in owner can later sign a published document or replace its signature.
Keyboard: Cmd/Ctrl+K opens the command palette, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+E exports PDF, and Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+P publishes.
Saved documents
The document library contains published documents, not automatically saved drafts. Publishing stores content, layout, style profile, and any signature as one snapshot.
- Review title, publication date, and layout.
- Open or copy the share link.
- Print, export as PDF, or later sign your own published document.
- Delete documents you no longer need together with their share link.
Data & responsibility
docflow processes your existing text to recognise headings, sections, lists, and emphasis. It adds no arguments, facts, or wording.
Published documents are accessible to anyone with the link. For confidential or personal content, check whether a share link is appropriate.
An applied visual signature is a document annotation. It does not replace identity verification or a qualified electronic signature.
